In commemoration of the Centenary Celebration of His Holiness Dr. Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin TUS, Anjuman E Taiyabi, Bangalore organized a VIP function at the Gateway Hotel on 19th March 2011 (14th Rabi Ul Akhar 1432H).

The function began with Tilawat of Quran E Majeed by M Mustafa Skh Abde Mannan Bhai Shakir followed by Qaseeda recitation. Skh Zulfiqaar Fakhri honourable Secretary of the Anjuman E Taiyabi presented the welcome address thereafter.

Next Skh Khuzaima Bhai Yamani, Aamil Saheb of Bangalore and the president of Anjuman E Taiyabi addressed the Dignitaries and the gathering.

Shabab Ul Eidiz Zahabi had organised an Extempore Speech Competition on 13th Rabi Ul Akhar (18th March) at Burhani Masjid.

The competition was held under the sadarat of Janab Skh Hussain Bhai Abbasi.

The competition began at 8:15 PM with tilawat e Quran E Majeed by Abbas Skh Shabbir Saifee.

After the tilawat M Ismail Bhai Talib who was compering the event called upon the judges - Mulla Aliasgar Bhai & Mulla Mohammed Bhai. They explained the rules and regulations and the break up of the points that will be awarded.

Continuous 110mins matam was done in Burhani Masjid on 10mi raat. Janab Aamil Sahab prayed Shahadat of Imam Hussain(AS) and urged mumineen to do purjosh matam.

In view of the ongoing Centenary Birthday celebrations of His Holiness Dr. Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin TUS, Dawoodi Bohra Business Association of Bangalore (DBBA) and Jamali Guards teamed up to launch a unique programme "Burhani Shopping Festival" in the primary business hub of Bangalore SJP Road and SP Road.

Today was the launch of this Burhani Shopping Festival on the hands of Janaab Aamil Saheb Skh Khuzaima Bhai Yamani.

The 8th Darees and Muzakerat was held on 8th Rabi Ul Akhar - 13th March Sunday at all the three namaaz centres - Burhani Masjid, Qutbi Masjid and Markaz E Fakhri.

The Darees on the niyat of tulul umar of Aqa Moula TUS began at 8:35 AM and after the darees Skh Saifuddin Bhai Barwaniwala delivered the muzakeraat on the topic "Asaratul Ahzaan wal Maatam Alal Imam Il Hussain AS".

On the auspicious occasion of Lailate Milad Imam Uz Zaman Milad Majlis was held at all three namaaz centres. People attended the Magrib Isha Namaaz and prayed Tawassul Namaaz thereafter. A mukhtasar majlis was held where in recitation of Qasida took place followed by Matami Noha and Madeh.

On the Milad Mubarak Day Aqa Moula TUS had done karam and ehsaan and gave razaa for live Audio Video relay of Waaz Mubarak directly from Ujjain.

Celebrating our Beloved Aqa Moula(TUS) birthday on 6th of March, a unique project was launched to bring back the "chirp" in our life.

Save Our Sparrow, project launched by Burhani Foundation(I) received appreciation from people of walks of life. People with one common aim of saving our environment, gathered at Burhani Masjid Complex to collect bird feeders.

Total of 500 Bird feeders were given out within 2hours.
