DBCA conducts computer classes

The Dawoodi Bohra Computer Association (DBCA) has, after a four year gap, resumed its basic computer course. This course targets Mumineen & Muminaat who have no knowledge of computers.

The computer course teaches them the basics from how to use a mouse and keyboard and then teaches them what things they are likely to need in their everyday lives - Word, Excel and how to use the internet.

People who have attended this course in the past claim that it has helped them in their businesses by cutting down dependencies on their shop staff to type invoices, etc.

The re-launched course has new features that the earlier one did not:

1.      The course fee includes a book that comes with a free CD for participants to practice at home and a complementary mouse pad.

2.      The new course is oriented towards giving participants hands-on time with minimal theory classes. practical classes and is conducted in a cyber-café with each participant getting a computer
