goodwill" throughout the world. Wherever Moula (TUS) travels people from
all walks of life come to seek his blessings.
On the 10th of March, 2007 various dignitaries of the State of Karnataka gathered at the magnificent Burhani Masjid in Gottigere to exchange greetings
and seek the blessings of Moula (TUS).
Amongst the few political
persons, professionals and other important personalities present were:
Prior to meeting Aqa Moula (TUS), all the dignitaries went
through an exhibition set up in a corner of the sehan. This pictorial
exhibition projected the various aspects of Aqa Moula's (TUS) multi-dimensional personality: His upbringing,
education, interests, contribution to the socio-economic development, revival
of Fatemi architecture, etc.
All those who attended the
function met Aqa
Moula (TUS) and admired
His personality, and were deeply touched with His purity and piety and
treasured this unique experience in their hearts and minds. Many visitors,
after having greeted Aqa Moula
(TUS) stayed back in the sehan for some time to avail the opportunity of
looking at His radiant countenance. Mrs. Sujatha Girish, a creative graphic
designer, was overjoyed at meeting Moula
(TUS) and said that it was a wonderful experience and a peaceful morning for
her. An educationist present felt privileged to have got the rare honour of
meeting His Holiness and said that He was an institution in himself and was
impressed with the commendable works done by Him for the upliftment of not only
Dawoodi Bohra business community but the world at large. When asked to describe
the experience of meeting Aqa Moula
(TUS), Dr. Girish Rao said, "It was a great experience visiting this very
serene and peaceful place of worship. The blessing of the Holy Father to Bangalore can be felt
from here. Best wishes to the Bohra community." For Mr. Ashok Manchandani,
a renowned businessman, it was an uplifting experience to receive blessings
from Aqa
Moula (TUS). He said,
"I felt very much at peace in His presence."
It was a
truly memorable event for all those present, an event that will be etched in
their memories for a very long time to come.
