Event : Independence Day Celebration & Annual Inter House Athletic Meet of MSB

The MSB Educational Institute of Bangalore organised a celebration on Independence Day (15th 0f August 2009) at MSB campus in CK Palya followed by an Inter House Athletic Meet.
Janab Aamil Saheb Sk. Khuzaimabhai Yamani, members of Jamaat Committee, Members of MSB committee, MSB Staff, Students, Parents and Mumeneen attended the program in large numbers.
Janab Aamil Saheb, the Chief Guest of the Day arrived at the campus at 10.30am.He hoisted the National Flag and recited the National Anthem.
Thereafter a brief speech was delivered by Huzaifa Waseef a student of MSB. In the speech he highlighted the struggle of the freedom fighters and presented the journey of India after the Indepence to the India we are seeing today.
The Independence day celebrations were followed by the Inter-House Annual Athletic Meet program. It began with the Tilawat of Quran-e-Majeed and Madeh. The tiny tots of Pre-Primary section then presented a fantastic drill display followed by the March Past competition competed among the four houses of the school; Red, Blue, Green and Yellow.
The MSB School had formed a new Band for the current year and the same was launched on the occasion of Independence Day.Dressed in glorious attires, the MSB Band participants presented an exceptional Band display that thrilled the audience.
Later, the athletic events comprising - 50m, 100m, 200m races, 400m relays - were conducted for all the classes. These events were thoroughly enjoyed as the students of respective houses cheered for their fellow mates.At the end a Tug of War was held among the houses.
All the winners were awarded medals and certificates along with points which were added to their respective houses. In the end, the final tally of the prizes were as follows-
The program ended with the Tilawat of Wazeefat-us-shukr.
