Ayyamut Ta’abbodaat ul Mubaraka are those 40 days wherein mumineen involve themselves in various ilmi and amali tasks. One of these is Tilawat E Quran E Majeed.

 

This year in Bangalore a Musabaqat of Hifzul Quran ie. reciting surahs from memory from Surat Ul Hamd to Surat ul Balad was organized. This competition was conducted in three rounds. After the first two rounds 8 contestants, 4 balig and 4 gair balig were selected. Then a final competition among them was held on 6th Shere Rabiul Akhar at Qutbi Masjid.

 

The finalists were supposed to go through 5 rounds wherein 4 rounds were related to Hifz and one round was related to general knowledge questions from surat ul Hamd to surat ul Balad. The finalists were evaluated based on two parameters:

 

A)    Reciting surahs from memory

B)    Makharij (Pronunciation)

 

The contestants who made it to the final were:

A)    Balig:

Muffaddal Bhai Zakir

Hussain Bhai Abbasi

Yakub Bhai Totanawala

 

B)    Gair Balig:

Yusuf Kheraluwala

Mohammed Bhopalwala

Burhanuddin Abbasi

Idris Baghdadi

 

During the competition which lasted for an hour, mumineen witnessed excellent performances from the participants and at the end Yakub Bhai Totanawala & Burhanuddin Bhai Abbasi emerged as winners.

 

These two winners will represent Bangalore in the South Jamiat competition which will be held in Chennai on 13th April / 8th Shere Rabiul Akhar Inshallah. We offer our mubarakbadi to these two winners and pray for their success at the Jamiat level competition also.

Khuda Ta’laa Aa shaan ma Moula (TUS) ni umar shareef ne jahan lag Quran Majeed baqee che wahan lag daraaz kare, ane hum mumineen ne aap Moula(TUS) na farmaan ne tabe thava ni taufeeq ane yaari ataa kare.
