Miqaat : Urs Mubarak Majlis of Syedna Abdul Qadir Najmuddin (RA)

Tonight, sadaqallah Majlis was held on the eve of Urs Mubarak of Syedna Abdul Qadir Najmuddin (RA). The Majlis began with tilawat of sipara, recitation of sadaqallah and qasida mubaraka.

Aamil Saheb did a brief bayaan on the occasion. In the bayaan he did zikr of the history of Syedna Abdul Qadir Najmuddin (RA).

"Syedna Abdul Qadir Najmuddin (RA) was the 47th Dai Ul Mutlaq. His father had named him 'Yusuf'. When Syedna arrived in the Hazrat of Syedna Abdeali Saifuddin (RA) he renamed him 'Abdulqadir'.

Syedna Najmuddin (RA)'s reign on Arshe Dawat was for 47 years. During this period dissenters rose and grew perilously in power. During this difficult time Syedna (RA) demonstrated patience and engrossed himself in the upbringing of his haqeeqee children -  the mumineen. It was until the time that Syedna Taher Saifuddin (RA) ascended on the Arshe Dawat; He then fought with these dissenters and cleansed the haram of dawat.

He was the first Dai to have performed Haj when holding the esteemed office of Dai Ul Mutlaq.

An epidemic swept through Ujjain and  Syedna Abdul Qadir Najmuddin(RA) was taken ill, and decided to leave Ujjain. When mumineen learned of his plans they urged Syedna (RA) to stay back until he had recovered and they had celebrated the return of his health. Syedna (RA) sat down instantly saying, "I shall remain here forever." He performed nass on Syedna Abdul-Husain Husamuddin (RA) who was not present in Ujjain. He directed a will to Syedna Husamuddin. "Tell my brother Husamuddin that I have weaned the children of dawat with great care and affection. When they asked for water, I gave them milk. My brother, do the same." Syedna Najmuddin (RA) passed away at the age of 73."
